About Me

I am a stay at home mother to one. Stay at home Auntie too. Wife to a wonderful loving husband Martin. Sister to three younger sometimes bratty but most of the time awesome brothers! Daughter to a super de duper awesome and "newly" skinny mom (Kate) and step dad (Bob). Daughter to Big Daddy in Florida! Granddaughter to the most amazing Granny in the universe (my BFF) I love my family dearly and hold it close to my heart. I cherish silly family traditions. I was born in Normal, IL and moved to maybe one of the furthest from "normal" places in the world, Grassy Creek, North Carolina, when I was 4. We lived there for 10 years before moving back to Illinois. I keep in touch with many of my friends from there thanks to Facebook! I love the south and may find myself back there someday. I now live in the town that my parents and grandparents all lived in, big 'ol El Paso, IL. It has that good 'ol small town feeling. All the things that I hated in high school about this town are now the reasons I want to raise a family here. Things such as, everybody knowing your name, your mom's name, your grandma and your grandma's grandpa's dogs' name. It's also crazy how many distant relatives I have in this town. But I love it! Nothing better than everyone knowing who "That little Rebbec kid" is and tattling to his mommy on him before he even gets home from school! Haha!

My son is 14 months old and is "ALL BOY"! His idea of a good time is making messes, eating things that don't belong in his mouth and throwing fits when mommy doesn't give him his way. He has blue eyes and blond hair and is truly a "pretty" boy!

My niece Lana is 18 months old and is one of the smartest kids I have ever met! She is also the biggest stinker ever! But her darling brown eyes and that little head tilt and she can get away with murder!

Wylie is my 5 year old nephew. He is in Kindergarten this year and boy do I miss him! He is THE smartest kid in Kindergarten but also the sweetest and cutest. Ok so I am bias but really everyone who meets him thinks the same.

Don't forget Tom and Sis! They are awesome kiddos! I am fortunate enough to see them at least once a week!

I have two step nephews, Owen (6) and Jakob (5) and they live in Texas. We usually see them for one week a year. This year we are planning a trip to Texas to stay with them in their new home! I can't wait!

These children are my life! They make and break my days! Only they can make me laugh and cry all within the same situation!

This blog will be mostly about them and the funny, annoying, crazy, silly, or wild things they do!
